My Week So Far

Monday:
huge tissue mountain

4 and one half boxes high

that's a lot of snot

Tuesday:
progress has been made
my daughter wore jeans today
yay for OT!

Wednesday:

my kitchen was clean

for a few moments today

then the kids came home

Thursday:
(Note, this is written from Comet's perspective, not mine.)

treasure in the grass

it's stinky gross and rotten

i must roll in it!

Friday:

mama and daddy

flying from feeder to nest

babies need to eat

Saturday:

son went to scout camp

girls had fun afternoon out

sick son home early

Sunday:

shoes by the road side

the question I ask myself

where are they going?

Catching Up....

Tuesday:
come here ladybugs
my big maple tree has scale
free dinner for all!

Wednesday:
fifth grade band concert
my short son played bells in back
i could still hear him!

Today:
life has been busy
i'm behind in my haiku
i have lots to write!

saturday morning
savoring the peacefulness
then the kids find me

Sunday:

using Google Earth
reviewing the days travels
it wasn't that flat.

Fruit, protein and dessert all at the same time! That's called being efficient!

my lunch was ice cream
with peanuts and banana
fruit makes it healthy!

Tuesday:

I love my backyard

a suburban oasis

weird neighbors and all

weirdest person in the neighborhood.)

Wednesday:

mowing doesn't stop

the grass and weeds keep growing

why do I bother?

Today!

i'm one with the grass

the squirrels have forgotten

mwah ha ha ha ha

Sunday and Monday. Here's to old friends and sweet preteen sons.

Sunday:
even after years,
a few moments together
dissolves the distance.


Monday:
sitting on my lap
edging towards puberty
but for now, a boy.

Weds:

Uneventful Day

Can be relaxing or dull

Depends on my mood.

Thurs:

family road trip

sunny pleasant afternoon

spent with each other

Fri:
kids at the dentist
good checkup and free toothbrush
braces in future.


Sat:
the world is not flat
it is most certainly round
why are people dumb?
(for the record this had very little to do with the events of my actual day, I just thought it was funny.)

Yesterday's:

guns and sword from sticks
a child's imagination
great battles are fought

Today's:

allergies are mean
they make my little boy sick
war against the pollen!

Bad, bad doggies!

empty cookie box
peanut butter in bedroom
dog's ill-gotten gains....

I admit I have a problem.....but at least it makes me productive!

Yesterday:
cleaning the windows
removing leaf dams from eaves
houses take much work!

This morning's:

This is horrible!
A problem that must be solved!
Out of Diet Coke....

So here is Friday's - I'd missed some yoga classes and was SOOO happy to get back to it.
