It used to be a 'Year of Haiku' but that didn't happen. So now it's going by a more realistic name.

Sunday and Monday. Here's to old friends and sweet preteen sons.
Sunday:
even after years,
a few moments together
dissolves the distance.
Monday:
sitting on my lap
edging towards puberty
but for now, a boy.
